- original mounted photograph of Bern Schwartz aged 10 or 11 at elementary school, n.d. [c.1924]. Annotation in the bottom-right corner indicates that Bern is fifth from the right, in the first row
- transcripts of letters sent by Schwartz from New York to his mother Ida in Tucson, Arizona, Dec 1934-1935. These letters were transcribed and collated by Michael Schwartz in 2000 and are prefaced by some contextual family history information.
