Correspondence with Lord Faringdon, 31 Mar 1943-19 Dec 1952
Correspondence with Lord Faringdon, who was elected to the Fabian Society Executive Committee in 1945. A letter from Faringdon to Creech Jones refers to the appointment in 1945 of Frank Horrabin as Chairman of the FCB (fol. 27); Faringdon himself became Chairman in 1950. The correspondence deals with matters to be debated in the House of Lords, and briefing for speeches; policy, administration, and finances of the FCB; articles, letters to the press, and FCB publications; and the organisation of committees, meetings, and conferences.
