  7. (fols. 24-27) correspondence between L.R. Swindells, Produce Inspection Office, Famagusta, and the FCB about the real demand for 'Enosis'. There are comments also on the West African cocoa industry and self-government for Malta, 8 Dec 1945-12 Sep 1946
  8. (fols. 28-94) correspondence between A.J. Moore Bennett, an English resident in Paphos (see his autobiographical notes, fol. 29) and the FCB (Rita Hinden and Marjorie Nicholson), about colonial problems and grievances, chiefly in relation to the Middle East and Cyprus. Bennett's letters are concerned with complaints about the Cyprus Administration, particularly regarding the cost of living, taxation, import licences, and the Governor, Lord Winster, 7 Mar 1946-18 Aug 1950
  9. (fols. 95-95A) letter from the FCB to G.H. Hall, S/S Col., about the position in Cyprus, setting out proposals concerning constitutional reforms, laws relating to civil liberties and to the Autocephalous Church of Cyprus, and amnesties for certain exiles and imprisoned soldiers, 7 Jun 1946.

(fols. 96-158) ; 17 Mar-30 Aug 1958 - Correspondence with Constantine M. Maratheftis, a Civil Servant in Paphos, 'Free-lance writer and contributor on Labour, Socialist and allied subjects' (see fols. 117-118). The bulk of the correspondence, 1946-1947 (fols. 96-147) is with Rita Hinden and Marjorie Nicholson; the second section, 1958 (fols. 148-158) is with Hilda Selwyn-Clarke and concerns Maratheftis's visit to England and the Bureau. In the first section, three letters from him to the Fabian Society are included (fols. 97, 99-100, 109), along with some related papers. The correspondence is concerned with the political situation in Cyprus and Labour questions, and with Maratheftis's contributions to Empire (later Venture) and other publications.
