(fols. 1-2) letter from P. Llewellyn Ross, Salisbury (Harare), to the Fabian Society, expressing his views on the treatment and mentality of African people, 29 Nov 1947.

(fols. 3-53) correspondence with Rev. A.S. Cripps (see also MSS. Brit. Emp. s. 365/99, folder 3, fols. 19-95). Because of his blindness, his letters were written by various amanuenses; many of the letters enclosed cuttings that are not in this file. The correspondence is concerned chiefly with the proposed Central African federation; other subjects include the following, 10 Apr 1948-19 Dec 1950:
