  1. (fols. 1-49 and item 1) correspondence concerning nutritional problems in tropical countries and particularly in Africa, 8 Dec 1941-22 Apr 1945, between Dr D. Fitzgerald Moore and Rita Hinden, with many cuttings attached, from medical journals, West Africa and The Times, some containing articles by Moore; also a copy of the Journal of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, Vol. 45, No. 17 (item 1). Included is a letter from Dr F.M. Purcell to Rita Hinden (fol. 37), and frequent mention is made of him, Dr B.S. Platt, and Sir Robert McCarrison.
