- the first two to John Brooke Brooke about her loan to Sarawak of £5,000, arranged with the Rajah, to pay off the debt of the Borneo Company
- the third, sent at her request by Mr W.H. Wills to John Brooke Brooke's mother, Mrs F.C. Johnson, saying that the Rajah was the best judge of all matters connected with his territories or his family.
