- (fols. 31-35) two letters, from Margaret Noble to Kathleen Brooke, about the attitude of the Colonial Office, and Creech Jones's appointment as Secretary of State; the widely held view that 'there ought to be a Brooke on the throne but not the Rajah'; and her own involvement in the Brooke cause and special affection for Kathleen Brooke, 6 Oct 1946-13 Nov 1947.
