(fols. 1-5) copy, inscribed 'For the Tuan Muda', of a letter from Sir Shenton Thomas to the Rajah of Sarawak about the latter's displeasure with Anthony Brooke, expressing his own opinion on two specific measures taken by Anthony Brooke (regarding the debts of officers and the furnishing of Pepys's house) and his deep regret on hearing that the Rajah had cancelled Anthony Brooke's appointment as Rajah Muda. Passages are marked, probably by the Rajah, 18 Jan 1940
