folders 1-4 comprise:

  1. Folder 1: Manuscript fragment from 'Moses and Aron' with a note in Schoenberg's hand
  2. Folder 2: 'Tenebre' by Gesualdo. A typescript with production notes for a performance on 1 Mar 1964, including annotations by Craft
  3. Folder 3: A small poster for a performance of 'Le Rossignol' by the Opera Society of Washington with Stravinsky conducting, 28-30 Dec 1960. It was the first performance in America, and was preceded by a performance of Schoenberg's 'Erwartung' with Robert Craft conducting, 1960
  4. Folder 4: A one-page typed letter signed to the composer Alan Bush, dated 2 Dec 1938. The letter concerns Bush's wish to make an arrangement of Schoenberg's 'Waltz for Piano', op. 23, dated 2 Dec 1938.

folder 5 comprises Schoenberg items, including:

  1. a one-page typed letter signed to Craft, dated 11 Nov 1950, concerning a performance of the 'Septet Suite' and 'Pierrot Lunaire'
  2. a one-page typed letter signed to Craft, dated 26 Jun 1950, concerning a performance of the choral pieces op. 27 and 28, referring to 'Pierrot Lunaire' and recordings of the work
  3. a one-page typed letter signed from Gertrud Schoenberg to Craft relating to Schoenberg's works
  4. a one-page typed letter signed from Gertrud Schoenberg to Craft, dated 7 Aug 1964, relating to Schoenberg's works
  5. an autograph letter signed from Gertrud Schoenberg about Schoenberg
  6. a printed acknowledgement of expression of sympathy following Schoenberg's death, signed by Gertrud Schoenberg
  7. two autograph letters signed from Nuria Schoenberg
  8. a typed letter signed from Felix Greissle relating to Schoenberg's works
  9. a typed letter signed from Richard Hoffmann, Schoenberg's secretary, dated 22 Jun 1951, regarding obtaining performance parts for op. 34, 'Segovia', and the 'Violin Concerto'
