The correspondence consists of photocopies of letters from Chandler to Alfred and Blanche Knopf, together with original letters from Knopf to Chandler, a few carbon copies of his replies, letters from 'Reading Files' and copies of letters made by S.S. Tyler. The photocopies were made for Dorothy Gardiner.
