Unfinished novel by Celia which she was probably working on in the 1950s-1960s. Includes notes taken from Celia's teenage diaries and letters.
This box contains:
- Draft (typescript) of chapter I, 'The house where I was born', 1950s-1960s
- Preparatory material including original pages extracted from diaries and letters. Includes letters from Celia Furse, Margaret Bridges and Olive Rendel (with specific references to her Aunt, Rose Paul), 1899-1960s
- Preparatory material mainly relating to Northumbria, including original letters from Margaret Bridges, 1905-1960s
