On the back of the second frame, in a more modern hand [Daniel Whistler?] is written 'One of 2 identical gold framed oval portraits of Emily (Yong[e]) Montague 1794-1880 (the other identified on the back). The frames are made from metal and glass. One has broken glass and the other is missing its glass completely. Dimensions: 19.5cm x 15cm.
