Loose papers originally enclosed within these engagement books have been removed and placed in separate shelfmarks and are listed after each engagement book. Enclosures include letters regarding appointments, social occasions, speaking invitations, awards, dates for rehearsals, filming, publishing and touring, plus occasional greetings cards, event programmes, receipts and newspaper cuttings.
