This was the first minute book of the society and the minutes of the first meeting, 14 Oct 1892, list those present and set out the constitution. A list of members, 1892-1893, is given at the start of the volume. In addition to the minutes, the volume also contains programmes, newspaper cuttings and letters from speakers, all pasted into the volume.
