Microfilm contains correspondence with the Abbe (Andre) Morellet of the Academie Francaise, letters from Morellet to Shelburne, 1772-1780, letters to him from Shelburne, 1785-1802, and letters from Morellet to Shelburne, 1778-1803, including reports on the Revolution, with notes by Morellet on Shelburne's administration of 1782-1783, with a covering letter of 1805. Also includes letters from Thomas Orde, 1st Baron Bolton, 1782-1789, with a copy of a letter to him from William Pitt, 1786. Additionally contains letters from Charles, 2nd Marquis of Rockingham, 1773-1782, with copies and drafts of Shelburne's replies, 1765, 1779, 1782, and a letter from Lady Rockingham to Shelburne, n.d., and letters from Admiral John Jervis, Earl of St. Vincent, 1776-1786, mainly concerning naval affairs, including the courtmartial of Admiral Keppel, 1778-1789.
