Also includes letters from Thomas Orde, 1st Baron Bolton, 1782-1789, with a copy of a letter to him from William Pitt, 1786. Additionally contains letters from Charles, 2nd Marquis of Rockingham, 1773-1782, with copies and drafts of Shelburne's replies, 1765, 1779, 1782, and a letter from Lady Rockingham to Shelburne, n.d., and letters from Admiral John Jervis, Earl of St. Vincent, 1776-1786, mainly concerning naval affairs, including the courtmartial of Admiral Keppel, 1778-1789.
