Industrial Relations Policy Group, Aug 1966-Apr 1970
The Industrial Relations Policy Group (formerly Trade Union Law and Practice Policy Group) formed in August 1966 to review the proposals set out in the 1966 Election Manifesto; to review recommendations by the previous policy group which were excluded from the manifesto; to reconsider proposals discussed by the previous group; to study obstacles and deterrents to higher productivity and better management; to recommend measures to help overcome these and provide greater incentive to industrial efficiency.
