Biographical / Historical

The inaugural meeting of the Derbyshire Branch, Conservative Commonwealth Council was held on 30/10/1954; Nottinghamshire Branch followed on 10/07/1956 and Northamptonshire on 04/03/1958. A Leicester and Leicestershire Branch was also in existence from at least 1956.
