The papers in this series mainly consist of correspondence between the various provinical branch (and local branch) officials and the Conservative Commonwealth Council Secretary in London, concerning administrative matters as well as the results of study groups and responses to papers issued by specialist groups within the CCC. Minutes of Provincial Branch and local Branch meetings do not survive with any consistency; some groups forwarded copies of minutes to the CCC in London but others did not.
