Biographical / Historical
The European Inter-Party Consultation (EIC) was an initiative set up by the British Conservative Party in late 1966 on behalf of nine European parties to institute regular consultation between centre-right parties in Europe.
The EIC eventually grew into the European Democrat Union (EDU) - for papers, see COB 7/4.
