Biographical / Historical
[The Committee was established by the Young Conservatives National Advisory Committee at its meeting of 25th September, 1982, to investigate allegations of extremism made against individual members and branches of the Young Conservatives. It produced its report in September 1983 and, due to its contentious nature, was forwarded to Party Chairman Cecil Parkinson for comment by the Young Conservatives' Chairman Philip Pedley before being presented formally to the National Advisory Committee at its meeting of 30th October 1983]
