The Du Maurier Family Album, 1890-1910
J.M. Barrie's memorial album to Sylvia Llewelyn Davies (née du Maurier), mother of the boys who inspired the stories of Peter Pan. It contains 45 prints of the family, primarily portraits snapshots by Lizzie Caswell Smith. Two loose portraits are inserted towards the back of the album.

Biographical / Historical
Lizzie Caswall Smith was a British photographer who specialised in celebrity studio prints, often used for postcards. She was also associated with the Women's Suffrage movement and photographed several famous actors. J.M. Barrie was a Scottish novelist and playwrite. He wrote Peter Pan.
