Hardback note book entitled, 'Southward from the Solent: The record of a holiday fortnight afloat', describing a holiday with her husband Charles as part of a crew on board a yacht (starting at Southampton and visitng Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, Beaulieu river, Bucklers Hard, Cherbourg, St Peter Port on Guernsey, Lezardrieux in Brittany, Cowes). Entries are written by both Mabel and Charles. Pen-and-ink drawings are stuck into the volume as well as black and white photographs, picture postcards, letters from the skipper and ephemera.
