A letter from William Thomas to Richard Lockwood describing the death of Simon Harcourt, 1st Earl Harcourt, at Nuneham Park, Sept. 1777, and a photocopy and typescript transcript of a letter from Charlotte, Queen of Württemberg, to Elizabeth Harcourt, Countess Harcourt, Mar. 1823 which were found loose in the inside cover of the volume, are now MS. Eng. c. 7568, fols. 6-14.
