The first represents a knight in complete armour beneath a canopy; along the base of the monument are six shields, bearing:

  1. a lion rampant gardant;
  2. two lions rampant gardant, four lions passant, quarterly, 1, 2, 2, 1;
  3. paly of six;
  4. a lion rampant
  5. a bend cotticed;
  6. in chief, two stars.

The second appears to be the monument of William of Windsor and Blanche of the Tower, (children of Edw. III.,) in Westminster abbey; engraved in Dart, vol. i. p. 108.

And the third appears to be that of John of Eltham (son of Edw. III.) also in Westminster abbey; engraved in Dart, vol. i. p. 107, and in Gough's Sepulchral Monuments, vol. i. p. 95.
