The letter seems to be superscribed with the initials "R. E.", coinciding with facsimiles of the signature of Edw. V. Compare for lord Rivers' handwriting the facsimile in J. G. Nichols' Autographs, (in quarto, Lond. 1829,) and the specimen on the cover of MS. Bodl. 264. The letter is endorsed, "To my lord my fadre our canc."
