- Folder 1: 'History of the Wind Room': Photocopies of papers, 1958-1999, compiled by Margaret Wind to illustrate to the history of the Wind Room at the Sackler library from early gifts of books to the Department of the History of Art Library by Josephine Crane in the 1950s to the transfer of Edgar Wind's personal library from the Winds' flat to the new Wind Room in 1999; with notes and summaries by Margaret Wind. - Folder 2: 'Early negotiations 1957- ': Photocopies of papers, 1957-1967, relating to the creation and the development of the History of Art Library in Oxford, including acquisition policy, accession lists, proposals and memoranda by Edgar Wind. [I, 18 A i (a); WIND 23]
- Folder 3: 'Purpose of the Library': Papers relating to the library of the Department of the History of Art at 35 Beaumont Street, including Edgar Wind's original notes on classification and arrangement, and his list of contents of the library and of desiderata, c. 1950s.
