- Folder 1: ‘Chichele Lectures, All Souls College, 1954’: Correspondence relating to Edgar Wind's Chichele Lectures 1954, correspondents including John Sparrow, Isaiah Berlin, Jean Seznec, Feb-Nov 1954; articles and lecture lists relating to the teaching of art history at British universities; personal correspondence between Edgar Wind in Oxford and Margaret Wind in Northampton, Massachusetts, Nov-Dec 1954; correspondence Edgar Wind with The Clarendon Press relating to the publication of the Chichele Lectures, 1954-1955. Also includes retrospective notes and later correspondence by Margaret Wind relating to the Chichele Lectures, All Souls College and Edgar Wind's 1933 visit to Oxford, 1986 and 1991. Smith, Bruno Snell, Maurice Bowra, Herbert Davis, E.R. Dodds, Eduard Fraenkel, Jan 1955-Nov 1956. Also includes obituaries for A.H. Smith, 1958, and Sir Douglas Veale; address delivered by Isaiah Berlin at the memorial service for Maurice Bowra, 1971; and later correspondence relating to a proposed quotation of the letter from Maurice Bowra in the History of the University of Oxford, 1991.
