The author's last and unpublished revision of the Life of Wickliffe, originally printed in 1720, containing much additional matter, and being in great part entirely re-written.

Prefixed are:

  1. Dedication to the University of Oxford, in which Lewis describes himself as having been a "battellor" of Exeter College in 1694;
  2. Preface vindicating Wickliffe from the charge of favouring the tenets of the Anabaptists.

At the end is added an analysis of Wickliffe's Trialogus. The first page of the volume is marked with the date, "March 9, 1741."
