Biographical / Historical

The pictured house was located on the Bulmershe Estate in Woodley, Berkshire. Originally named Woodley House, it was later renamed as Woodley Lodge and was pulled down in the 1960s. The house was sometimes referred to as New Bulmershe Court, distinguishing it from Old Bulmershe Court, which is still standing and has been re-named as Bulmershe Manor.
