The Outside Organisations Sub-Committee, originally the Ad Hoc Committee on Relations with Outside Organisations, was responsible for the Advisory Committee's links with external bodies. Meetings of the sub-committee received reports from the Advisory Committee's representatives on cross-party and non-party campaigning groups, as well as on correspondence received by the Advisory Committee from outside organisations.
