The National Society of Conservative and Unionist Women Organisers was formed in 1926 as women organisers were not permitted to join the National Society of Conservative Agents. The Society was wound up in 1946, when men and women were accepted as constituency agents on equal terms.
The Conservative and Unionist Women Organisers' Benevolent Association was wound up in December 1946. Investments and balance at bank were transferred to the Conservative and Unionist Women Organisers' Benevolent Trust Fund in the name of Drummonds Branch Nominees, Ltd., as custodian trustee. The Administrative Committee of the Conservative and Unionist Women Organisers' Benevolent Trust Fund was appointed in January 1947.
