File 1: Information on tea growing in Limuru comprising notes on the early tea farmers' output from 1936 to 1945, notes on interview with Francis Githaiga Wacima and Jean Wanjiu Cliffe in 2003, reflections by McWilliam on M.P.K. Sorrenson's Land reform in the Kikuyu country (1967) in relation to Limuru, 2004.

- Notes on Agriculture Department files from 1939 to 1957 with copy of 1954 letter on tea cultivation by Africans.
- Notes on Central Province Tea Board minutes from 1957 to 1958.
