Mostly letters from Graham to Vivien, some annotated by Vivien. Comprises:

  1. correspondence, 1945-1959, mostly letters from Graham re his literary work, films he was working on, the possibility of winning the Nobel prize, his travels, their children, finances, his affairs and the terms of their separation. Includes fifteen letters from Vivien to Graham (including some drafts and some copies), mostly relating to their relationship and her financial circumstances, 1948-1958. Undated letters from this period are at the end of the folder.
  2. correspondence, 1960-1990, mostly letters from Graham re his literary work, his manuscripts, the sale of his letters, their finances, his love affairs, their children, his travels including visits to Russia, an unauthorized biography being written by Anthony Mockler, and increasingly his ill-health. Includes nine copy or draft letters from Vivien to Graham, 1972-1989, relating to the break-up of their marriage due to his infidelities, his rejection of her and the family, her finances, a meeting of Graham Greene Productions, her dolls' house museum, and including a copy of a poem written by her for Graham on the outbreak of war and sent to him in 1989. Undated letters from this period are at the end of the folder.
