"Begun by Mr. Thomas Hatcher, fellow of this College (of the year 1555) untill an. 1562, and since continued by John Scott, coroner of this college, untill an. 1620; afterward continued by Edward Hinde (of the year 1594) untill an. 1621; then by G. Goade (1620 A.D.) untill an. 1646."
Transcribed by T. Hearne in 1713 from a copy written by Rev. James Upton, master of the Grammar School, Taunton, and rector of Monksilver, Somerset. Hearne adds that this MS. is only perfect to 1556.
