Notes towards the compilation of a reformed Calendar for the year 1644, with successive drafts of parts, and calculations of various kinds. Some of the divisions are:
- (fols. 1, 6b) 'An Almanach framed ... for the year since the Gospell ... began to bee preached, 1616 ... beginning ... at the ... Spring Aequinoct, the same being, according to the vulgar account ... 1644' with 'Chronicall Canons or Rules of Chronologie', dated Alkerton, Feb. 16, 1643/4;
- (fol. 19) 'An Almanach for twentie nine years' 1639-1668;
- (fol. 21) 'Caput decimum octavum. Publicæ lectiones sacræ totius anni', a reformed lectionary;
- (fols. 29, 38, 70) lunar calculations;
- (fol. 30) 'Solis et lunæ periodus octode-sexcentenaria, sive Annus Magnus.'
Parts are copied out in the Italian hand common in England at this time, by a clerk (fols. 1-11, 19-20, etc.).
