'This book is a collection of petitions, bills, letters, receipts etc. concerning Stratford chapel ...', i.e. the building of a church at Fenny Stratford. The church was in building from 1724 to its consecration in 1731. There are printed appeals, as well as lists of benefactors, plans, drawings, agreements, etc. etc., connected with the building and settlement of the church, in which Browne Willis took the leading part.
