Arrangement

There is additional correspondence from this period in the 4th Earl's general correspondence [MSS. 16644/84-87, 90], and in Lord and Lady Clarendon's correspondence with the earl's mother Theresa Villiers [MSS. 16644/146, 148, 150-152, 162-163]. An important letter from the 4th Earl about his imminent work in Ireland and expectation of failure (29 Jun 1847) is in the papers of the 5th Earl [MS. 16644/217].
