Legal and financial correspondence and papers, including a copy of the 4th Earl's will; deeds etc. about the marriage settlement of Harriet Lister in 1844; papers about the finances of Katharine, Countess of Clarendon and the 4th Earl's mother Theresa, 1839; a copy of the will of Maria Eleanor Dowager Countess of Clarendon (with associated correspondence), cash accounts from 1869 and a 1786 bill for fireplaces at the Villiers' country house The Grove, originally intended for the 1st Earl but sent to and annotated by the 4th Earl, 1771, 1786, 1839, 1844, 1852, 1869
