Biographical / Historical
A triennial lecture series in memory of E.A. Lowe (1879-1969), Lecturer and then Reader in Palaeography at Oxford University from 1913 until his retirement in 1948, is held at Corpus Christi College, where he was an Honorary Fellow. In 1978, Hunt took as his subject, 'The transmission of classical Latin texts since the Renaissance'.
