Vol. 19: Consulting the Laity: January 1859 to June 1861] and refers to: bearing his cross [i.e. his life and temperament]; the conversion of Pollen and his brother [to Catholicism]; the lack of desire of others to convert [to Catholicism], or convert others; the University (with mention of Frankenstein); a new periodical and the Achilli matter.
