- Fols. 19-87: "Confidential papers", 11 Dec 1944-11 Oct 1945. Chiefly correspondence between Duckworth and R.A. McL. Davidson, Director of Education, about Duckworth's salary, the abolishment of the post of Inspector of Education and his subsequent official status, and letters on these subjects from Duckworth to the Chief Secretary, Lagos, and to the Officer Administering the Government; also one of an earlier date (2 Dec 1942) from the Editor, Pictorial Post, London, about the need for photographs illustrating life and work in the British Empire.
