The score of an earlier version (?the 1941 revision of the original 1928 work - see S. Banfield, Gerald Finzi, p. 275) is at MS. Mus. c. 376 (fols. 146-150). A copyist's score of the final version, made from this manuscript and used as the engraver's copy for the published score (London: Boosey & Hawkes, 1952) is at MS. Mus. b. 43, fols. 12-18. Undated, but perhaps from the time of the first performance in 1951.
