A copy of John Selden's Mare Clausum (Lond. 1635, folio) wanting the first four leaves, with the margins covered with anecdotes and reminiscences in the hand of Charles Stanhope, 2nd baron Stanhope of Harrington. This volume was found among other Rawlinson volumes, and presumably belonged to Dr. Richard Rawlinson.
