A series of Miscellaneous Autograph Letters, largely of English persons of note, of the eighteenth and the first half of the nineteenth centuries, arranged alphabetically, with a few engraved portraits: chiefly collected by W. Wilson. The chief items are:

  1. Seward, William, signature, April 30, 1796, and letter undated (fol. 19).
  2. Siamese Twins, signature undated as 'Eng Chang' (fol. 35v).
  3. Smith, Horatio, three, 1824-35, with a poem (fol. 43).
  4. Smith, James, one, undated (fol. 51).
  5. Smollett, Tobias, a receipt, Jan. 5, 1759 (fol.57v).
  6. Southey, Robert, May 5, 1803 (fol. 66).
  7. Thurlow, lord, i.e. Edward Hovel Thur-low (d. 1829), Feb. 7, 1813 (fol. 134).
