Petrarch, Trionfi , written in the 15th century in Italy
'Francisci . Pe[trarche]... Triumphus Amoris...', and the other Trionfi, with the same variations as in no. 25401, art. 3. On fol. 4 is a miniature of the head of Petrarch, and at foot the arms (?), azure, a tower turreted surrounded by a fortification masoned argent, therefrom a path partly or: the whole shield is within a gem-ring.
