Subject index ('Synopsis subjectorum' or 'Index Materiarum' of printed books in the Bodleian, written in about A.D. 1620-1630 at Oxford
Subject index ('Synopsis subjectorum' or 'Index Materiarum' of printed books in the Bodleian. It is perhaps of about 1620, and contains lists under a large number of headings in alphabetical order for Civil Law. In both the titles and press-marks are given, and in this MS. often the date also is stated and some MSS. are included. The volume may be part of a general scheme of subject indexes for the Bodleian, such as was Verneuil's for Theology, published in 1635.
