ocal and instrumental parts of an Oxford Act song, Written in c.1706
Vocal and instrumental parts of an Oxford Act song, perhaps of A.D. 1706: the words begin 'Carminum præses': the music was probably (see Hake's Catalogue) partly by R. Goodson, senior, and partly adapted by him from Carissimi. The reference to Frankfort on the Oder seems to fix the date, but the earlier part was composed probably in 1695, see no. 26832.
