Comprises:
- (fol. 3) 'The History with the fate of Sacrilege ... By Sr Henry Spelman kt... 1632', with a dedication to Charles ii by Stephens, and (at fol. 52) a postscript.
- (iv: fol. 77) Original notes and extracts in Spelman's own hand, used in his work on tithes. This is the only part written by Spelman himself, in these three volumes.
- (fol. 122) Stephens's Preface to Spelman's Treatise concerning Tithes, 1647.
- (v: fol. 136) 'A treatise of the ecclesiastical Lawes & Courts as they have bin continued in England', by Stephens, in eleven chapters.
The paper forms fols. 1-2: the MSS. are copies made by Stephens, unless otherwise described, and are to all appearance occasionally imperfect.
