  2. (fols. 5-8) Phillis has such charming graces. For voice and piano. Words anon. 2 copies, the 1st dated at end, 'Oxford, March 13, 1912', the other 'Oxford March 15, 1912';
  3. (fol. 9-12) An Englishman's liberty. For baritone and piano with unison chorus ad lib. Dated at end, 'October 1915'. 2 copies, the 2nd copy in the hand of a copyist;
  4. (fols. 13v-14) The quarrel. For voice and piano. Dated at end, 'January 9, 1925';
  5. (fols. 15-16) O take me to your arms. 'Song from a play'. For voice and piano;
  6. (fol. 17) Cradle song ('Sleep my baby the night is here'). For voice and piano. Probably in the hand of Mrs Gerrans, whose name and address (20 St John Street, [Oxford]) is on fol. 17v;
  7. (fol. 18) A short note from Franklin to Mrs Gerrans, dated, Aug. 1 1912.
