v (fols. 26-27v) Printed exam paper for 'First examination for the degree of Doctor in Music', 4 Nov 1915, with 21 bars of a work by Ernest Walker in piano score to be orchestrated. With a manuscript note by Ernest Walker: 'This is the sketch for a possible opening of a choral setting of "Dirge in woods"'. Not related to the unaccompanied SATB setting published 1939.
